One of the projects I'm currently working on is a guest chapter for the A Dream universe. It's first-person perspective from Rainbow Dash's POV, taking her through the duration of her pregnancy.
I'd like to share some stories I'm following that deserve a little love. This isn't entirely selfless, of course. More readers means my favorite authors are more likely to update more frequently!

The Scroll of Exalted Ponies (Mature, Gore)
So, I just did my fourth re-watch of A New Generation, and during that time, fellow writer Kaidan and I started discussing the prospect of doing a G5 style tribute to Cupcakes when I couldn't stop laughing at the animation of Izzy going to town on a box of Grinded Pony Hooves.
And I'm thrilled that he took the idea and ran with it, because I wouldn't have been able to write something so good, so fast.
So without further adieu, I happily plug and present:

I've recently been putting time into a side project; a guest chapter for totallynotabrony's A Dream series.
Given my most recent story, Rules of Engagement, I’m sure none of you are surprised to see me plugging an Aria story.
As most of you who follow me know I have pretty exacting standards for stories. I strongly favor long fics and it's often hard to find truly great ones. My definition of that is one that, over it's length, never ceases to be engaging, intriguing, and original. I try to hold myself to this standard and though I suspect I often fail my hope is that striving for that high goal improves my art.
Anyone who's read Featherfall knows I have a bit of appreciation for OctaScratch shipping, a great deal fewer people realise it's absolutely one of my favorite ships. It's one of my favorite relationship dynamics which is one of the reasons I strive to put it somewhere in my stories it's feasible to do so. With that being said, recently I've been on a bit of a reading binge, catching up on my 'read later' backlog, and that's where I found this absolute gem of a story.
Parasprite Panic! is a board game by ParaspriteCharmer on DeviantArt. The game is reminiscent of Pandemic, but naturally as a board game consisting of 3 PDFs, it's very much "some assembly required".
... Though he could also be called the RLV_Aficionado, as he's got a definite soft spot for the flower trio's Roseluck & Lily Valley! His latest offering is Foolers Rush In, a loose sequel of the Unleash the Magic-esque Fertile Ground, in which Roseluck decides it's time to break the shy and stallion-averse Lily out of her shell by taking her to a filly bar. Only the first chapter is written thus far, but with cider flowing freely, a pub full of experienced fillyfoolers and
I can pretty much do nothing at work. 
I mean, I'm a developer for a web app, and now when I launch the thing (and only when *I* launch it), I can log in, and then I get a page full of this:
Hello everyone, just wanted to touch base and share a few things.
Green continues (I know I know, I promise it'll end eventually) expect the latest chapter on the first as per usual (I do it at midnight now, since the story has gotten so insanely popular that I don't wish to bump other people's stories out of the box during the day) We're on Interlude 13 now, in which I increasingly skew my chapter numbers.
Chapter four will be delayed due to a family vacation to Palo Duro Canyon this weekend. I'll be working on it tonight, but it is highly unlikely that I'll finish before leaving, especially since I still haven't finished going back over the previous two chapters. (I'm sorry! Pleasedon'tbemad! 
) I doubt I'll have time during the trip to continue writing while I'm there.
So, that's the bad news out of the way, how about something more upbeat? 
Anyone wanna sit around talking about ponies an shit? Maybe you can squeeze some spoilers out of me for some of my stories or even throw things at me that you'd want to see
I'm going open this by saying it is hard to write a good crossover, and that's not even going into the fact that you're essentially dividing up your reader base.
Happy early 4th of July! And if you aren't American, you can just be patriotic for your own country. Or not, it's all up to you really.
So, why am I exactly doing the weekly story thing? Honestly speaking? I really don't know. AT first it was supposed to be a thing that I could use to make challenges for myself, but I soon found out that I had fun coming up with silly/non-silly things that I could post and wouldn't have to give too much time to. It's actually refreshing.
Allow me to be self-indulgent for a moment, and celebrate surviving another year! The last 365 days have been a heck of a ride; I'd try to unpack it a little more, but I'm getting pulled out the door to head out into the mountains for swimming purposes. (Which is far from the worst way to spend your birthday.)
This is the fluffiest Sunset/Wallflower fic I’ve ever read and it is pure and wholesome and should be read.
Go read Premarital Smooching by the superlative and wonderful Scampy.
Fair warning, the rest of their stuff is sad as hell.
